Duke Lung Transplant Friends Stories
Hi, my name is Judy Oberle. I had my lung transplant on 11/26/06,which was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. My children were in Durham with us to celebrate Thanksgiving but couldn't stay another day so left to go back to Charlotte, N.C. saturday morning. Just to turn back around to get here again!!
Last week I celebrated my 9 month anniversary. "They" decided it would be with a bronc, "I" decided it would be with a Baskin Robbins ice cream cone. Jamoca almond fudge. By the way, this was the best and easiest bronc I've had. It was done by Dr. Zaas. Smoothest and most comfortable yet!
I would love to hear from any of you out there. Especially anyone who was going to the Center for Living between Nov 1, 2006 and Feb 1, 2008.
